You have to have a value for each of these, even if that value is .none or !none, otherwise it won't work. So, for Dreamweaver, we'd need a command like this in your step.rc:

*OnRun "_macr_dreamweaver_frame_window_" .none !BangOnRun !BangOnClose -))

Sparkane, I loved this article. You write in a way that really speaks to me. And that worked out extra-great for me with this article because I've been hearing about NTFS's links for years and have had a hard time finding something really spelling out the situation.
Many thanks!

Anonymous's comment about Windows Symbolic and Hard Links
Quote: "This is just a hunch, but Microsoft may actually use the symlink for files capability in at least 2 programs...in Microsoft Windows 2003 Server's Shadow Copy feature, and in Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Document Versioning feature."
No, Shadow Copy uses Volume Shadow Snapshot which is a volume (essentially meaning partition-level) mechanism. That's why you can't configure Shadow Copy at a directory or file level. SharePoint doesn't store content in the file system at all. The full SharePoint Portal Server product uses the same Jet-based database as Exchange Server. The free Windows SharePoint Services (successor to SharePoint Team Services, which succeeded the Digital Dashboard Resource Kit) uses MSDE (SQL Server-based) databases. Both versions of SharePoint implement a WebDAV provider to expose a hierarchical view of the content database, making it resemble a file system, but none of the content is stored in NTFS except in the form of IIS temporary/cache files.

I use LiteShell on all of my embedded pcs ranging from k6 500`s to athlon xp 3.2. Stabillty issues with both versions of win9x shell32.dlls do not raise there heads anymore once liteshell becomes the default shell.
A terrific achievement Rob
Thanks very much for all your hard work.

I think I'll implement a "keyword" for this site, so you'll have to start your comment with ... say "shells" ... I'll strip that and post your comment.

Hopefully that will keep the spammers at bay.
